The easiest way to get to Key West is by flying directly into Key West International Airport (EYW).
Major Airlines:
American Airlines: Non-stop from Miami (MIA), Philadelphia (PHL), Charlotte (CLT), Dallas (DFW), Chicago (ORD), New York (LGA), and Washington D.C. (DCA).
Delta Airlines: Non-stop from Atlanta (ATL) and New York (LGA).
United Airlines: Non-stop from Houston (IAH), Newark (EWR), Washington-Dulles (IAD), and Chicago (ORD).
Unfortunately, Southwest Airlines doesn’t currently service Key West.
Once you arrive, getting to your hotel or rental is a breeze with just a 5-10 minute ride by Uber or Lyft—no need to rent a car!

For the adventurous, fly into Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or Miami (MIA), rent a car, and hit the road to Key West! The drive down the Overseas Highway (US 1) is about 3 hours of pure scenic bliss and ranks as one of the world’s most stunning road trips.

Old Town Key West
Old Town is just steps away from the lively Duval Street, where you’ll find all the best bars, restaurants, and shops. While it’s true that staying here might cost a bit more, the convenience and vibrant atmosphere make it totally worth it.
New Town Key West
New Town will have more affordable hotels. Expect to use Uber/Lyft to get around because it is farther from all the action in Key West.
